Karly meets with politicians and visits community centres to raise awareness of the crime, and speaks openly about her experience as a victim of sexual exploitation. Karly Church explains exactly how someone will come in and take control over you by using your weaknesses and posing as a savior. These kinds of people are master manipulators; they get control mostly of a person and then use them to their advantage. Karly now works closely with the anti-human trafficking unit of the local police department and accompanies them to meet with potential victims. Karly supports victims in cooperation with other agencies and organizations to ensure that their basic needs are met once they have left their traffickers.
