When I was growing up, such an opinion was mostly inconsequential, but today, the debate questioning if the procedure should be a legal option divides people worldwide. Proponents of life believe abortion is murder because life begins at conception. You can also make an argument as it creates a culture in which life becomes disposable. Conception is the moment a sperm cell fertilizes an egg cell, which begins the process of cell division that creates a human.
